About The Artwork
I was inspired to paint this artwork because the red cardinal is so beautiful against the white winter snow. The cardinal is also the state bird for North Carolina. I also see this bird often in my yard flying back and forth through the trees. It is very lovely in color and I had to paint what I call the Winter Cardinal.
