About The Artwork
"Winter Paths", oil on canvas, 102 x 77 cm I have just finished this beautiful oil painting today, and I am very happy with the results. The painting is a part of the series I am working on right now, devoted to love and our paths in life. “Winter paths” is a conceptualized winter view. The different paths are allegories of our paths in life. Everybody is experiencing the life differently. The only thing that always remains constant for all of us is love; it is the most important thing in the world. We all are taking different paths in life, sometimes through wind and snow, through challenges and struggles. Luckily, all of the paths we take eventually lead to love. To create this beautiful painting, I combined the Renaissance painting technique with the Italian technique impasto. The painting is a multilayer oil painting and has three layers of oil paint painted one on top another. It is very pastous with a thick and rich texture. "Winter Paths" is full of sumptuous, vibrant and vivid colours. The painting is ready to be hung on your wall.
