ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Hearing the music "The Skater's Waltz" inspired me as I painted the winter colors and thought of the skaters gliding and swirling across the icy surface. I enjoy working with color and texture and the freedom of experimenting to find the image never before seen. This painting is framed with a white mat and silver metal frame with the total size of 30" tall by 22" wide. I have enjoyed this painting in my home for several years and being now 82 years old am letting some of my favorites go. I would count this as one of those. "Winter" was exhibited in The Allied Artists of America show in 2012 in NYC, USA.
