ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by the description of Carlos Castaneda of his teacher, an Indian shaman. I try to suggest the coexistence of parallel realities and perceptible life forms in states of non-ordinary consciousness. I think figurative painting is still one of the most effective means of suggesting the oneiric world, and the symbolism.
