Juan Emilio Mariano Rossetto, nacio en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, EL 27 de enero de 1946. Su padre Aldo excelente dibujante de Caballos, aparece como su primer gran maestro.
Es importante recordar que los primeros pasos los hizo en la escuela primaria como ilustrador de la revista del colegio y dibujando con lapiz de carbon imagenes religiosas, bajo la enseñanza del hermano Briañas, maestro de segundo grado del colegio Marianista, excelente dibujante. Asi comienza su carrera de Pintor de Acuarelas. Luego estudia dibujo en la escuela, donde son profesores Pablo Pereira, Hugo Prat, y Breccia, tambienn estudio en la escuela popular de arte de la Boca.
En 1969 PARTE hacia Europa, en Italia, el recorrido fue de museo en museo: Genova, Torino, Firenze, Pisa y Roma.
En Roma pinta las iglesias y palacios, y vende los trabajos en la Piazza Navona.
En Alemania, Munnich, visita una importante exposicion de Cezanne y Miro.
En España, sigue estudiando, realiza 2 exposiciones en Ibiza.
Luego regresa a Buenos Aires.
En 1976, visita por segunda vez Europa, se dedica a visitar museos de Francia. Desde entonces comienza una etapa de búsqueda y crecimiento.
De 1985 hasta 1992 acude definitivamente a la acuarela, descubriendo que es su medio más eficaz para expresar lo que ve y siente.
En adelante participa como discÃpulo de importantes maestros, especialmente en el taller de Ana Rank y Guilermo Roux.
