ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This painting is an original design called "Isogin," which I started from a stain of a sea anemone pattern. I used gesso as a base coat, and when it was dry, I used opaque watercolors to apply the colors. I intentionally overlap adjacent colors to create a blotchy effect. As I paint with a large amount of water, puddles of colored water will form. By tilting the paper up, down, left, right, and right, I can adjust it as if I were drawing a thin line. I used this method to draw the womb, the place where a baby is born. Mermaid 135g/m^2 was used. The picture is signed in the lower left corner with my stamp (name stamp).

From the encounter teaching of painting mentor Takahiro Kimura※, I learned that painting can be used to convey energy to people. Therefore, even though it takes a lot of hurdles and individual efforts to solve problems such as food problems, I started working on this work, hoping that I could convey the energy for that with the paintings I drew and make an effort. It was. ※Takahiro Kimura profile➾ My work was named "Isogin " from the name of the early pattern: sea anemone (Japanese isoginnchaku). Its features are "circle", "color" and "bleeding". The intention of "Isogin" is By doing various things in a life where everything is normal, something with a taste and unexpected wonderful things are born.
