ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is inspired by the wild patches of flowers and weeds you find in variou places in Greece, both in the city and outside of it. They are unruly places, but so beautiful, full of colour and texture and forms. This type of flora might have been underated, but in recent years its value to the ecosystem has been reexamined. To me, it represents freedom of expression.
