ABOUT THE ARTWORK
36" by 60" by 1.5" "Wish I could be, part of that world" A very large Acrylic Painting on Stretched Canvas.. I am still so captivated by the beauty of land, sky and sea.. I finished painting this one during a recent heat wave here in Vancouver. 32 degrees and on its way up to 39 degrees later this week! I guess my imagination took me someplace cool, deep and refreshing. I have always loved the idea of Mermaids and the Sea.. My Mother who has since passed on, wrote a absolutely beautiful poem called "Bury me in the sea", which captures the mysteries and wonders of life beneath the ocean.. I love this Painting. It is currently hanging on my wall until it finds its Forever Hime, bringing with it a feeling of peace and relaxation.. Thank you for viewing my art! Amber.T

Amber is a self taught artist who grew up in beautiful Vancouver BC. Growing up she always had a passion for anything "art". The beauty of movement in the art of dance, the way a writer "paints" a song that touches you, and captures your imagination.. Her favourite way of self expression was working with charcoal to create depth and shadows on paper as well as painting bold bright pieces.. Through family illness and much loss, she swayed from her passions and put her paint brush down at the age of 18..
