Johann Nussbächer composes his pictures with a sensitive feeling for the subtlest nuances very expressive atmospheric mood spaces fascinating color aesthetics. The special quality of the paint gives the images their multilayered, even soft shiny character and inimitable charisma radiation. The pictures are spontaneously painted with varnish on canvas or wood / MDF and sometimes on metal. "Nußbächer is the only artist, the special qualities of the material varnish so strictly and for many years is of use for his work and with it developed a new Bildsprache, which one as a new abstraction with organic ones, biomorphen, to ameba-like, fluent forms and structures can circumscribe. Besides, the artist takes up the concept rather avoided in the modern age of the beauty openly and brings him in his to picturesque stagings with full colours, tender glazes, luminous surfaces, aerial forms and crisp sound to the expression.“ If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me. Johann Nussbächer is a German artist, painter, printmaker and draftsman. With national and international exhibitions. His wide work consists of different groups of works of painting, an extensive graphic work as well as "figurative expressive" drawings. His oeuvre has a high density of creation. His most famous paintings are the "works in varnish" The newest painting group is called "Reale Fiction". These pictures look surprisingly three-dimensional, but are actually quite flat and they are exactly like the "work in varnish" unique in the world. Born in the Upper Palatinate near Regensburg, he has been living in a former school in Spessart for over 30 years. In addition to 5 catalogs on his work, there are three television broadcasts about him. The films can be viewed on his homepage:
