Wundertüte Painting

Unger shook the Wundertüte (bag) and that's when it happened. It exploded. And firecrackers shot through the air. The bearded Schimmi could not hide in time, he tripped over his many feet. Since then he has a glass eye. The fireworks also frightened the traveler. He jerked the steering wheel around, skidded and crashed into the grazing sheep on the side of the road. Unger thought it was cool. Finally, something was happening! Days later, the sheep limped to the blue Arab, complaining: "All-knowing! What was this chaos supposed to teach me?" it wanted to know. The wise man answered: "Life is like a surprise bag, you never know what's inside. Sometimes there's a happy bonfire, sometimes it backfires. So stay calm and graze somewhere else!" GERMAN Unger schüttelte die Wundertüte und da geschah es. Sie explodierte. Und kreuz und quer schossen Feuerwerkskörper durch die Luft. Der bärtige Schimmi konnte sich nicht rechtzeitig verstecken, er stolperte über seine vielen Füße. Seitdem hat er ein Glasauge. Das Feuerwerk erschreckte auch den Reisenden. Er riss das Steuerrad herum, geriet ins Schleudern und krachte mit Karacho gegen das grasende Schaf am Straßenrand. Unger fand’s cool. Endlich war was los! Tage später humpelte das Schaf klagend zum blauen Araber: „Allwissender! Was sollte mich das Chaos lehren?“, wollte es wissen. Der Weise antwortete: „Das Leben ist wie eine Wundertüte, du weißt nie was drin ist. Mal gibt’s ein Freudenfeuer, mal geht der Schuss nach hinten los. Bleib also gelassen und grase woanders!“
