Yellowist Painting

John Niemira is a painter living and working in the greater Phoenix valley. He was born in early 1960’s on the east coast. John is a business professional and college professor. He started his painting just a few years ago, in his fifties. He has always been a great supporter of the arts but never painted anything but his living room. John started painting as a relaxation technique with his meditation practice. He tries to paint every day and is still experimenting with materials, surfaces, paints, styles and composition. It is an ever learning experience, he says. John said each painting is a new process, and he never knows where it will go once he starts a painting.
