This piece is a study of Gustave Caillebotte, Yerres in the Rain. I added it to my file to explain the process of creation of my other painting "Raining in my heart" and because I am obsessed with relexion on water and with the impact of drops of rain creating waves. It makes my heart vibrate very strong each time I see a surface of water reflecting the sky and trees, like there is another world, another dimension in it. For this piece I used Earth colors on purpose to catch the natural aspect of the scene. I used a lot of glazing for the water because I like the transparency and delicacy is gives to the movement of the scene. For me the aim of studying a great artist is the same as playing a partition from a great composer. You learn effects and you get closer to the artist’s emotions, and somehow you give it your own interpretation anyway. Then you have it stored in your memory and in your cells, and it helps you develop your own pieces. In this piece I felt like someone is crying over the riewer, but I also felt a lot of tenderness, maybe because I associate water with a feminine element.

"I believe in the healing beauty of Nature and Arts. » Cæsiliæ's oneiric paintings open a window to radiant realms. They depict luminous reflections, women and floating flowers on water displaying a visual dance of light and feelings… Her work appears in several private and public collections around the world and it has been featured several times in curated selections by international galleries and charity organizations dedicated to Women and the Environment. Cæsiliæ comes from her second name, Cecilia, which means blind, fortunate or secret in Latin. In addition, Saint Cecilia (230 AD) was the saint for poets and musicians. She is a French painter currently based in Berlin, Germany and specialized in painting with natural linseed oil. Each artwork is unique and signed at the front or at the back by the artist.
