This painting is part of my Dynamic Abstractions series. I've made bigger sized canvas on that series too, but this one appears to be more intimate in a way. It's like a small but intense piece of poetry you can hang on your wall, and just plunge your mind inside when you're wondering about the aesthetics of life, at home, warmly installed, with a music traveling through your ears. You can approach it as a visual representation of music, thoughts, raw and complex emotions. I aim to promote a kind of festive wisdom, something reflecting abstracts meanings of existence and how we can ride them. How do I proceed ? Firstly, I'm creating a base, which come from interactions between very diluted ink and painting, giving life to some random fade outs. I'm working on the movement of those fluids to guide it in some ways. Then, I pursue my creative journey by choosing every colors by its potential interactions with their neighbors. I very often work with pairs in that series : placing one touch of that color on a defined zone, and one touch of that same color in another part, diagonally opposed, to generate more visual movement. The eye is constantly driven to different details. There is an important amount of work on all those forms. At the end, I'm bringing a new dynamic through curve traits, that superposes to precedent details, generating more space for eyes and mind to travel inside.

Bark is 26 years old french artist, born in Normandy, Lisieux, and living since 4 years in the city of Guyancourt. He is driven by a creative desire during his teenage years, by his passion for graffiti universe. Initiating himself to this practice, he shaped a part of his artistic identity. Though this first fascination never really left him, he knew how to enrich his vocabulary over the years, by the curiosity that characterizes his work. This is the aspect of his personnality in which he blossoms and his work evolves. Not only in reference to multiple artistic cultures, but also through significant recognition of the work of its peers. He mainly approaches painting as a means of a sensitive expression of the world around him. In his paintings, shapes and colors are both the translation and the physical restitution of a spirit in the air of time. The dynamics of his traits, sometimes vigorously assured, sometimes subtle and refined, give rise to movement. The powerful contrasts pay tribute to the history of humanity, the many details evoke the diversity and complexity of life. Bark invites us to share with him both intimate and universal dreams and emotions. Étienne Rey, President of the artOshare association, 2019
