ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was experimenting with pouring medium colored with acrylic paint. As I was building up the layers, the word "subcutaneous" came to mind, so, using a stencil, I added it. Then, the word "abrasions" hovered in front of me as I ran my hands over the piece, so I added that.
