About The Artwork

From the series "People who know how to kill" Generation Z in Russia is not at all the same as Generation Z around the world. In the US, Canada, Europe and Asia, Gen Z people are interested in science and culture, get an education, actively study the digital sphere, make discoveries and explore the world, oppose violence and stand for love. Generation Z in Russia are people born to kill. In kindergarten, they dress them up in military uniforms and give the kids machine guns. At school, the boys are told that they are future warriors (killers and cannon fodder), and girls are encouraged not to study, but to get married quickly and give birth to as many cannon fodder and brutal killers as possible. The Russian Generation Z only knows how to hate, kill and die. They do not know what love, curiosity, intelligence, honor and conscience are, they do not know what freedom is. And they will never know, because they return home in bags and film.
