ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In this series the artist –and architect– makes an interpretation of emblematic works of architecture through an iconographic image that symbolizes it, based on different referential diagrams that he combines in a single image. In this case it is the Tugendhat House, Brno, Czechoslovakia (1939) by the architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.

Spanish artist who grew up in Malaga, although he develops his professional career in Barcelona. He currently resides in Granada. He is an industrial designer and training architect known in Spain for being one of the designers who shaped the change of era and culture that was lived in the nineties. After being recognized for his career as a communicator, he currently combines the activity of his design studio with new incursions into the art world. His artistic work is based on geometric abstraction close to pop art and questions the apparent opposition between tradition and digital media. In the creation of his works, he combines the computer with the canvas. Handmade cuddle, on paper; scans, vectorizes and colors with computer, and then executes it by hand on the canvas. The process is documented in social networks. ************************************ Note regarding the purchase of some of the works: The artist's work process begins with a first phase of the digital project of the work. Some works are still in this first phase pending to be painted. If any buyer or collector were interested in the final original work painted on canvas, they would have to add to the time stipulated by the platform a waiting time for the maximum order of two weeks, the time necessary to proceed with its completion manually.
