This painting was fun to create, with resulting light layers of paint resembling interacting ribbons of pink, crimson, yellow and blue,. It makes me think of a birthday celebration. I see dancers in motion.

Born in Delaware, in 1969, I've lived in many places including Texas, London, and New Orleans, but have called San Francisco home since 2006. My grandmother was a dedicated artist and musician. I've been painting large scale abstracts since 2013. Incorporating highly saturated artist grade pigments on canvas, I hope to achieve a unique expression of harmony and spontaneity. My paintings draw inspiration from mid-century design, modern architecture, and from the artistic works of Frankenthaler and Diebenkorn. I have paintings installed in businesses and private residences nationwide.
