ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Around 2012-13,I started exploring space, both within our body, outside in nature and also in the cosmos. I was also experimenting with materials and came up with using buttons, needle and thread and little bit of simple embroidery. With these materials, I bought texture into my paintings. The buttons gave a raised surface. So, this painting is titled Cosmos .It is how I perceived the universe. I have used very good quality of thread and have made sure all the knots are tied at the back. I hope the viewers can interpret the theme in their own way.
