This painting is my version of a tribute to Roy Lichtenstein. This phrase came to my mind when I was at a very low emotional point in my life and suddenly I was given a perspective that helped me get better and look at everything in a more positive light. It is about having meaning to your life and ...

Hi! My name is Mariia Musiiaka. I’m a Ukrainian artist, based in Madrid, Spain, who’s all about color, detail, and finding beauty in the little things. Through my paintings, I communicate with the language of symbols - just like others might express themselves through poetry or dance. I discovered my own way of sharing thoughts through color back when I was a kid. I’ve also always been curious about what things are made of, so I naturally paid close attention to details and how they work. That love for detail eventually made its way into my art. I’m drawn to pointillism and mosaic-inspired techniques because they let me dive into the tiny details that bring each piece to life. My art is filled with bright, vibrant colors - I use them to express the idea that there’s always something positive to be found, whether in a moment, a person, or a feeling. Inspired by styles like pop art and symbolism, I love blending bold visuals with deeper meaning. Much of my work comes from reflecting on human behavior - my own and others’ - and I often use symbols to capture the emotions, experiences, and lessons that have shaped my journey.
