The work "meaning of life" is a diptych in the format 2 x 140 cm x 180 cm = 140 cm x 360 cm. The work was executed with acrylic paint on jute and is stretched on wedge frame. The figurine group shows a man and a woman giving birth to a child. The man holds a bitten apple. The woman holds a mirror and the child has a money note in his hand. In the foreground lies a untipped glass in the wine puddle. The title of the work is "the meaning of life". The work is based on sketches for a drawing film. The shapes of the figures are, on the one hand, linear and geometric. Nevertheless, the figurine group is expressive in expression. In order to allow the buyer the greatest possible freedom in the presentation of the work, the picture is not delivered on any background and delivered unframed. On request, the work can be arranged and framed in close consultation with the buyer.
