moonlight sonata (Divine Melody) Painting

This is an acrylic and oil painting on canvas. A triptych of each 42"x 41" size canvases mounted on cradled board. Dominant colors are cool blue and white. Music (Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata in particular), the desire to contribute in my own way to universal peace, a sense of having harmony and equanimity all the time, from full moon to new moon to full moon, inspired this work. I hope viewers will feel peaceful and harmonious on seeing this work. I simply love painting in oil. Acrylic helps in establishing a very thin and quick completely drying base. And then I wanted the work to be not re-stretched ever, and be sort of permanent. So, mounted it on cradled board and completed it. I love feeling peaceful and making others feel peaceful. Harmony, music, and cool colors are a way for this. And the style makes the feeling clear cut. Again, to convey a feeling of like different notes making up a harmonious whole, a melody, I made this composed of panels.
