It is a work produced by reinterpreting folk paintings and embroidery from the Joseon Dynasty. Objects appearing in folk paintings and embroidery works of the Joseon Dynasty contain their respective meanings. At that time, in the 18th century, themes such as peonies, dragons, and tigers contained the meanings of prosperity, power, and longevity. In Confucianism during the Joseon Dynasty, the meaning of wealth and prosperity is not a material meaning, but a pursuit of wealth and prosperity in the spiritual world. This work is a review of what wealth and honor are today. Peony is in full bloom, the dragon is simply a painting painted on pottery, and tigers are painted as cats pretending to be tigers. Please take a closer look. This work is embroidery pretending to be a picture.
