Born in 1949 in Paris, Thierry Deliveyne has touched the paint late in the 90s. After studying architecture at the ENSBA in Paris, he turned to photography and then to the ephemeral decoration (show, exhibition ..) When he wanted to achieve certain dreamlike visions in two-dimensional, abstract painting imposed as the good medium. Having no training in the "matter" was able to forge an original technique. His current work follows two lines of research: - A painting on canvas or wood, often colorful, where intuitive gesture is founder creating a raised-material structures and organizes the surface; then comes the color, spirit, which underlines, accompanies or contradicts and modifies. - A more refined search with a black and white work (ink), but still founded by an intuitive gesture.
