Piet Mondrian's paintings were also often used as templates for packaging for everyday consumer products. There the motifs appear very clean. In contrast, seeing the traces of processing gives me the feeling that the picture is more alive. Not only is the finished picture there, but I can also sense the creative phase. That makes the picture much more exciting for me.
