ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a small painting I made in the summer of 2018 and has a brother, who is titled ''Night''. My inspiration for these two paintings was the concept of dualism, describing how obviously opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. This painting looks very good when placed in front of a window, because the natural light passes through the canvas giving a bright effect.
