About The Artwork
The painting can inspire to look more closely and attentively into the everyday environment, but also to make new discoveries in ourselves. The elaboration of the heavens on this relatively small-scale painting is not just fine with flowing transitions created in a soft style. Harsher edges meet here as well. The depicted character is ambivalent. It may also take some strenuous work with harder contrasts and disruptions within ourselves, similar to what we see in this picture, to get closer to finer layers of our personality. The light, which shines out and shines from the center, gently dissolves all the harsh contrasts and harshness in the later course of the event, solely through increasing power in the brightness. The work is made on a wooden board, as I was on travel then and preferred to handle with the massive board, instead of a canvas there. The surface of the work is protected by a special vanish and the appearance is a welcome average between satin and a bit glossy, but not to much. (This painting will be delivered with the golden frame, that you see on pictures above. The frame extends the dimension of this artwork for 3,5 cm at every of the four sides; your win will be sized 37 x 47 cm completely).
