Artista holandés, nacido en Bloemendaal, Países Bajos, 1952 / Estudio actual: Málaga, España Después de un viaje de cinco años, a través de América del Norte y del Sur, y una estancia de doce años en Amsterdam, trasladó su estudio a Málaga, España, en 1989. Su obra sobre lienzo, papel u otros medios, concebido como expresiones abstractas y dramáticas del arte contemporáneo, se expone internacionalmente en galerías e instituciones. Su trayectoria se complementa con otras perspectivas, como objetos, instalaciones y construcciones escultóricas en espacios públicos como: El Laberinto de León, en la zona verde de la Fundación Altzheimer en León, México, El laberinto de piedra en el parque "Ortspitze", en la ciudad de Passau, Alemania, La casa de las dos chimeneas, construida en el parque de esculturas de la ciudad de Santa Rosa, Argentina, La escalera transparente y El laberinto del Patio, ambos en Málaga, El Cubo (Kubus) en Ostend, Bélgica, o El Monumento al Migrante desconicido, realizado para la Tirenal de Arte de Tijuana, México, 2021. En 2015 la historia infantil Paco Pulpito fue publicada con texto e ilustraciones por el autor. En 2016 publicó el libro Las crónicas del Kong, una fábula íntegramente ilustrada sobre los crímenes de lesa humanidad. Dutch artist, born in Bloemendaal, Netherlands, 1952 / Current studio: Malaga, Spain After a journey of five years, through North and South America, and a stay of twelve years in Amsterdam, he moved his studio to Malaga, Spain, in 1989. His work on canvas, paper or other media, conceived as abstract and dramatic expressions of contemporary art, has been exhibited internationally in galleries and institutions. His career is complemented by other perspectives, like objects, installations and sculptural constructions in public spaces such as: The Labyrinth of Leon, in the green zone of the Altzheimer Foundation in Leon, Mexico, The stone maze in the park "der Ortspitze" in the city of Passau, Germany, The house of the two chimneys, build in the sculpture park of the city of Santa Rosa, Argentina, The transparent staircase and The courtyard labyrinth, both in Málaga, or the Cube (Kubus) in Ostend, Belgium. In 2015 the children's story Paco Pulpito was published with text and illustrations by the author. In 2016 he published the book Las crónicas del Kong (The Kong Chronicles), a fully illustrated fable about crimes against humanity.
