My name is Iga, a 24-year-old artist originating from the enchanting land of Poland. Art has been my ever present companion, an inheritance bestowed upon me by the remarkable women who shaped my world. My journey into the world of artistic creation began under the gentle guidance of my grandmother, a devoted music and art teacher at an elementary school. Though she herself gave up her dream of venturing beyond her hometown to pursue studies at a fine arts academy, her passion for creativity and expression seeped into my very being. Alongside her, my great grandmother, a masterful seamstress, stitched a legacy of determination and boundless talent. Her hands tirelessly crafted garments until she reached the age of ninety, leaving an indelible impression on my artistic sensibilities. Influenced by their unwavering support and aesthetic prowess, I find myself suspended between the eras of the 1920s and 1970s. The echoes of these times resonate through my work, infusing it with a timeless quality that speaks to the essence of human experience. As a woman existing on the autistic spectrum my chosen mode of expression is the visual arts. Within the spectrum of color, the dance of forms, and the eloquence of eye expressions, I find the language to convey the energies that give birth to my paintings. A little luckier than my grandmother, I was able to achieve a diploma at the Institute of Painting and Art Education in Kraków My art encapsulates the vivid narratives of a life steeped in rich heritage, vibrant colors, and the intricate nuances of human connection.
