'Cty' Series images: These pictures are constructed from multiple photographs. The underlying images were taken at different times of the day and night, under different weather conditions and from slightly different physical positions. Software and then the artist was tasked with merging them into a single image. However these small differences mean it can’t. Fractures fall in where there is not enough similarity to create a coherent story. The structure available to the image is subtly collapsing and dying away. As the story of what we call the ‘City’ in this post Brexit world may also be changing.
