4th of July Fireworks - Auburn, NY - 2010 - Limited Edition 1 of 1 Photograph

As the only child of a single mother, I grew up a quiet observer, most of my time spent alone, I learned to live comfortably in that space. Through a mixture of landscapes, scenes and self portraits I explore the way we live and invite the viewer to revel in these moments and give permanence in the fleeting nature of modern day culture. These photographs show my world, the world of someone on the cusp of a generation that cares so much for the past and one lost in a seemingly apathetic future. Received my BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2009. Have been a working photographer since then, as well as making my own art, having shows at small venues around New York City and also producing a few of my own books.
