Philip Field BA (Hons) ARPS - Professional award winning UK photographer. My photographic career started in my late twenties when living in the alpine town of Verbier, Switzerland. Having always had a passion for photography and the great outdoors, my eye was naturally drawn to capturing an adventurous lifestyle, be it sport, nature or travel. I love nothing more than packing my camera bag and trekking for hours on end to find the perfect shot and between 2013-2014 worked as staff photographer on the Freeride World Tour ski and snowboard series. Now living in the UK, I take on commercial projects and have a keen interest in macro and food photography. I seek to travel as often as possible and continue to find new and interesting ways to document the world. I have been published numerous times in publications around the world including National Geographic, BBC Wildlife Magazine and the Huffington Post. Success has been achieved too in worldwide photographic competitions - notable achievement include: *Travel Photographer of the Year 2014 - Commended finalist in 'one shot monochromal' category* | *Monochrome Awards 2014 - Honourable mention in both the professional photojournalism and professional wildlife categories* | *Outdoor Photographer of the Year - Finalist* | *Royal Photographic Society - Photojournalist of the year 2014* | * Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2015 3rd place in 'food in the field' category. In additional to my personal work, I am an Associate (ARPS) of the prestigious Royal Photographic Society where I also work as a distinctions assistant. Thank you for taking the time to view my work and I would delighted to hear form you.
