Contact us.Barbara and Maciej are a husband and wife duo of award-winning photographers, visual artists and travelers.
Their work has been recognized internationally, earning prestigious awards. In 2023, they were named Professional Nature Photographer of the Year at the International Photography Awards (IPA), celebrated at the famous Carnegie Hall in New York City. Their photographs have also been awarded in multiple editions of the IPA, Prix de la Photographie Paris, TIFA Tokyo, Siena Awards, ND Awards, and exhibited in the US, France, Japan, Italy, Greece, Hungary, China, and Germany.
Their editorial photos have been published in Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Forbes, The Times, The Guardian, National Geographic, Condé Nast Traveler, Lonely Planet, Architectural Digest and many others. B&M’s photography has also appeared on the covers of jazz, pop, and classical music albums released in the US and the UK, as well as books by numerous acclaimed writers, including a Nobel Prize laureate. The artworks of Barbara and Maciej are in private and corporate collections in the USA, Canada and Europe.
Born and raised in Poland, they hold Master’s degrees in Arts and Science, respectively, and have been based in Southern Germany for the last 25 years.
As documentary, travel, and fine art photographers, they have explored over 60 countries and 16 US states. For over two decades, they have photographed the world's diverse facets, ranging from bustling megacities to the most remote corners of the globe.
They specialize also in aerial photography. As a private pilot, Maciej shot aerials firs for fun, then as a photojournalist for magazines, in the meantime, he teamed up with his wife, Barbara. Currently, the duo also flies drones, documenting Earth's changing landscape and passionately capturing motifs where reality and abstraction blur creating a dreamlike experience for the viewer.
