Dutch | 1975 Miriam started her career in 1998 as a graphic designer, and the past 25 years she has worked on different types of projects. She has a love for experimenting with photography, and different techniques and materials. Nature as the source of inspiration, her work a graphic interpretation. She Is based in the Netherlands and France, where she has a studio. WORK: Landscapes form the base of my work. Depending on the circumstances I work with a digital or an analogue camera and use different (in-camera) techniques such as double exposure and intentional camera movement. Creating a visual interplay between the natural environment and its graphic interpretation. By using different (printing) techniques and materials I try to create an abstract impression of a natural landscape with layers, depth, and disturbance. Framed artwork available through my website.
