I live in Houtbay Cape Town.The winds in our area are volatile and produce the most amazing cloud formations.I am constantly fascinated by all the varied formations.This image was take during what is known as a 'South Easter" A south easterly wind which can blow for days.It can blow for up to two weeks which is then termed a "Black South Easter" The winds are extremely powerful and blow one off of ones feet!Winds have been measured up to 160 km per hour.Needless to say keeping a camera steady is quite a challenge even with a sturdy tripod!
