This image is entitled ‘Woodland Escape’. Produced in the New Forest in southern England, this artwork depicts a runner in a unique and solitary engagement with nature. This artwork conveys both my passion for the amazing world around us, and of the energy and human spirit of those who confront nature challenges in their pursuit of sport. I remember this day very well; the air was warm and still, the forest silent. The vastly differing locations that 'Run!!!' has taken me too have each been a privilege to work in, as my work is to me a visual diary of my life. I look at this image and say with both certainty and pride, 'I was there'! ‘Woodland Escape’ was captured using a full-frame Canon DSLR camera. This image is sold unframed, the size of the actual printed image of this artwork is 41.1" x 29.1” This print comes with a 2” white border on which the artists signature features on the lower right hand corner. Printed on exhibition quality Premium Matte photographic paper, signed and numbered by the artist, this artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity. Your print will be shipped rolled securely inside a shipping tube.

Photography; it's THE most fantastic medium, I adore it, and I hope this is evident in my work. Born near Winchester in the UK, I've been a resident of London for most of the past three decades. Since June 1983 - when I spent my entire first salary on my first SLR camera - photography has been an intrinsic part of both my life and of who I am. Photography it isn't just about taking great imagery, importantly, it has made me intimately aware of the world around us. As an art-form, photography creates an enormous opportunity to tell a story. Not only can I explore the present, but through montage techniques, as is evident through my exhibition 'Recovering The Past', it enables me to link the past with the present. As an artist, this gives me the opportunity to explore almost anything imaginable. Photography never ceases to excite me, I very much hope that my work does so to you too.
