This image is entitled ‘Woodland Escape’. Produced in the New Forest in southern England, this artwork depicts a runner in a unique and solitary engagement with nature. This artwork conveys both my passion for the amazing world around us, and of the energy and human spirit of those who confront nature challenges in their pursuit of sport. I remember this day very well; the air was warm and still, the forest silent. The vastly differing locations that 'Run!!!' has taken me too have each been a privilege to work in, as my work is to me a visual diary of my life.
