My photographs present human activity, or the lack of it. They explore the truthfulness of the moment and how it proves to be far less objective, or unsure in meaning, than originally assumed. Chance plays with realism and abstraction. Much of the work is inspired by the Greek light and form. Colours are strong and bright, as offered by the Mediterranean sun. Formal elements are balanced and realistic, even when I embrace the fluidity and transparency of the liquid element. My glance is influenced by my previous work in painting, design and installations.
My intention is to combine clean forms and colours to create a personal story that defies the geometry of the composition.
