The son of acclaimed painter Domingo Barreres, Domingo-Martin Barreres’ own passion for artistic expression first established him as a premiere Boston barman, gathering an international audience for his creative and artistic cocktail stylings. As a novice to the scene in 1989, Domingo found a unique way to incorporate his passion for art into his newfound passion for cocktails. Domingo-Martin’s talents were soon recognized leading to his cocktail development consulting on the National and International markets. Domingo-Martin’s signature cocktail art can be enjoyed globally. From to Mexico City to Dubai, London , Bogotá, Abu Dhabi, and beyond. Domingo-Martin and his cocktail art have been featured in many print and on-line periodicals including Vogue, GQ, Boston Magazine, Improper Bostonian, Stuff Magazine, Camille Styles and Poise Boston. Domingo’s artistic approach to cocktail creation has garnered him many awards, along the way including the Top 10 Most Inspired Bartenders in America by GQ Magazine, Bombay Sapphire and The United States Bartender’s Guild. Domingo-Martin’s has also done a great deal of computer graphic work over the years with clients from around the corner to around the world. It is this computer graphic skill that Domingo-Martin has honed over the last couple of decades and his desire to grow creatively that gave rise to his recent RESIN8 series.
