Squeezed limb by an overwhelming weight, comparable to the one collapsing your heart for so long. Reality as a translation of the interior, intimate discomfort that turn into physical oppression. Threads binding two broken souls, looking for sweetness and comprehension. An apparent unperishable tangle that time has worn away until it has been dissolved, leaving behind wounds with an evolution propt to manifestate once peace and awareness have been achieved. This project’s aim is to show bewilderment and emotions related to loss by the use of the female body and countenance in the grip of the elements and letting perceive sensations in which the observers can recognize themselves: vulnerability and sorrow. The entire project consists of twenty photos taken between September 2022 and March 2023, five for each of the four elements. That explains the staggered numbering of the images since I have chosen two per element. In the realization of these images I preferred to make a more "classic" use of photography, avoiding the use of photomontages or AI to recreate environments, choosing rather to have fun finding concrete solutions ( a system of harnesses hidden from the point of view of the objective for the air, bonfire for the fire, a forest for the ground and a pool for the water).

Born in 1984 in a small town in the Campidano plain in Sardinia, I have always had a particular attraction for the world of cinema and photography. In 2003, after the scientific diploma, I left to begin my studies in economics at the University of Pisa. I fell in love with Tuscany and looking for financial autonomy that would allow me to continue living in this place I left university studies and I worked for almost 15 years in the world of express couriers until 2019, when I finally decided to give vent to my passion and open my photographic studio in the city of Siena.
