Fine art photographer Patrick Lajoie was born and raised in London Ontario and studied fine art at OCAD University in Toronto. Known for his image transfer works on wood panel Patrick’s images are infused with a warmth in both hue and texture, created by the golden cast of the wood as well as the delicate woodgrain apparent beneath paler areas of pigment. Through his work Patrick seeks to explore themes of colour and light as well as the emotions sparked by nostalgia and remembrance. His works are held in private collections across Canada and the United States.
