Opposite Directions - Limited Edition of 5 Photograph

This image was shot in Manhattan Beach, California. The waves were huge, and there were plenty of surfers in the water taking advantage of the large swells. This moment happened so fast that I almost missed it. The thing that stands out is the composition … the balance and symmetry that is created by the two surfers going in opposite directions - one taking the ride in, and the other paddling out… as well as the crashing wave that creates a center divide between the two guys. The incredible texture of the water is also outstanding. It shows the intense movement that was happening all around these guys. Hang it on your wall as a reminder of those perfect moments in life that line up just right! This is a 37" x 28" image on 40” x 30” paper, sold unframed. The paper is Hahnemühle Photo Rag, and is made from 100% cotton. This is archival, museum quality paper with a smooth surface that is completely matte (zero shine). The bright white cotton allows for the colors to be at their truest, and the shadows at their fullest, which creates a wonderful contrast that will stand out on your wall!
