ABOUT THE ARTWORK
People go to the Desert for many reasons- some to find answers, some to buy cheap land, some to exploit it and some to express themselves. The person or people who put this place together must surely have been seeking all the above! I was able to photograph this in very dramatic light and processed it much in the same vain as an old Master might. I'm channeling a little of Ansel, a little of Weston... and mostly me!
