Art Description

Photography: Digital, Black & White, Paper, Photo on Paper.

The inspiration for this image is really the amazing architecture of Zaha Hadid who was the architect of the building - The Heydar Aliyev Centre in Baku, Azerbaijan. The lines of the building inspired me to continue the cheeky series on a grand scale. The cheeky series has always explored the female nude in public and bucolic environments. The building is very feminine and the lonely nude in front of it is to express the relationship to the amazing lines of the museum with the feminine form.

The image was made by piecing together multiple images to create an extremely high resolution final product designed to print very large.

Thank you Zaha Hadid! Your work lives on.
