ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I took this photograph during a trip to Montevideo, Uruguay. Arriving at teatro Solís, I was looking at the details of its neoclassical architecture and soon had the idea of photographing this part, which had a very favorable light. Textures, shapes, light, shade and the beautiful color of the building were recorded here and I know that will delight lovers of architecture.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
