João Vitor Sarturi is a Brazilian photographer who lives and works between architecture and visual culture. Photography, for him, is both an analytical and contemplative practice — a way of observing how space, form, light, and human presence intersect in the built environment. His work explores photography as a technical and conceptual tool, approaching architecture not only as object, but as experience, atmosphere, and sequence. Through a precise and restrained language, his images seek to reveal relationships between structure and landscape, geometry and time, use and perception. He collaborates closely with architects, artists, archives, publications, and cultural institutions, developing photographic narratives that support critical discourse and documentation. His projects include collaborations with studios such as Saboia + Ruiz Arquitetos, Marcos Bertoldi Arquitetos, Arquea Arquitetos, Grifo Arquitetura, Figueroa Arquitetura, Estúdio Gustavo Utrabo, as well as the Oscar Niemeyer Museum. His work has been featured in national and international publications including ArchDaily, Divisare, Archello, and Revista Projeto, contributing to the dissemination and discussion of contemporary architecture and urban space.
