ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I took this photograph in Óbidos, Portugal. I really like to photograph details of old doors, because the marks of time, present in the wood, look very beautiful in the print. This one attracted me not only because it has these characteristics, but also because of the beautiful shade of green and the presence of this iron grille, which gave a special touch to the composition. For art collectors who appreciate this style of photography, I leave it available here, for sale.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
