Protected from the sun by the shade of sails, this beachfront dry dock repairs and makes dugout log fishing boats. Little more than a hollowed-out tree, they nevertheless require maintenance to keep them afloat. One of the workers does not want his photo taken and is waving his hand at me, shooing me away. I was already taking the picture as he began to wave. I had my photograph and downed the camera while walking on past and waving back at him. Everybody was happy.
