Yasma's work has been described as energetic and vibrant with the rhythmic movement that is rarely found in still photography. She credits her work through the appreciation for photographer influences such as David LaChapelle, Rodney Smith and Ruven Afanador. Pushing the envelope in conceptual imagery, this photographer's subjects include a wide array of imaginary characters found in the depths of the unconscious mind. These depictions of alternative realms hold strong in the foundation of the classical art of surrealism and come drenched with a saturation of color. Yasma's eye for finding beauty in the crevasses of the most random and exotic places, translates itself in full expression/vision through her art. It is that connection from her brain through her eyes and vice versa, that the duality of psychological world and reality inspire her. This portfolio represents a small collection Yasma's photograph. Additional sizes for gallery image editions are available upon request.
