Max Serradifalco

About the Artist

Max Serradifalco

Italy

Max Serradifalco (Palermo, 1978) is an italian artist and landscape photographer who lives and works between Palermo and Milan. Pioneer of Web Landscape Photography in 2011, he elevates satellite imagery from the web into an artistic medium, transforming the observation of the planet into a virtual journey that yields photographs, collages, and 3D sculptures created exclusively from unmanipulated screenshots.

At the core of his research lies a complex investigation into the psychology of perception. Guided by pareidolia, the artist's gaze moves beyond topographical data to capture figures, faces, and organic architectures hidden within the landscape. The Earth's surface thus becomes a mirror of the unconscious—a space for spiritual, mental, and symbolic projection. Anchoring this process is a rigorous aesthetic discipline that rejects digital retouching, relying solely on the power of framing and nature's spontaneous chromatic harmonies. The result is a profound environmental sensitivity, where rediscovering the Earth's beauty serves as a clear ethical message on planetary fragility and interconnectedness.

Serradifalco has exhibited at institutions such as the Riso Museum in Palermo, the Bianchi Zardin Gallery in Milan, the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki, the Exclusiva Foundation in Rome, and the Biodiversity Demo Center in Lecce. Selected by visual innovation pioneers such as Adobe (Behance) and from Saatchi Art for Samsung (The Frame), his works are featured in public and private collections across Europe and the United States.
