Oana Baković is a contemporary fine art photographer working with wild flora, overlooked places, and the unexpected beauty of nature. Her practice focuses on fragile habitats, natural movement, and fleeting moments shaped by light, weather, and season.
Born in Constanța, Romania, with Croatian roots, she spent nearly a decade in the UK before settling in Slovenia. Working with handheld flash, ambient light, motion, and close observation, she transforms familiar natural subjects into immersive visual experiences.
Her work has been recognised by the Sony World Photography Awards, International Photo Awards, The Independent Photographer, British Photography Awards, and Fine Art Photography Awards.
