ABOUT THE ARTWORK
From 1990 until 1994, I worked as the head of the art studio at the National Institute of Art and Disabilities in Richmond, California (NIAD). As many as 50 client/artists work in many creative disciplines, all day, five days a week, in a Day Activity Center. Experienced artists are the facilitators.
